I find freedom when my words and actions are in alignment with the Divine.

When I follow Jesus’ teaching to seek the kingdom of heaven, I dedicate myself to experiencing God in my life. I focus my mind on divine qualities—love, joy, peace—and strive to see those qualities in each person and situation. I speak kindly and treat others with love. As I think, speak, and act in ways that are in alignment with the Divine, I discover that I am free to create a life that also reflects these gifts.

Any seeming challenges I face serve as reminders that my freedom comes in mastering my reactions to the circumstances. I cannot always change what shows up on my life’s journey, but I can choose to see the world through a perspective of love. I turn within and align my mind and soul with God, and I am free.
