We've All Just Begun
 

We'll all think that once we're in recovery that the battle has now been won, but for all of us we've all just begun to fight battle that all of us will be fighting for the rest of our lives. The truth is that no one among us in recovery is ever cured and all of us will need to continue to practice recovery so we all can stay here in recovery, and we can once we all realize that we need to this. Many of us will fall prey to the idea that all the hard work has been done by the time we get to recovery. This may be true for some of the hard work that was needed to be done for some us to be in recovery, but the battle is far from over for all of us, and we'll all see this as we all go a long in our recovery that this is true for everyone who is in recovery, and it's okay that it is, because this is what keeps all of us going so we all can continue to be here. It's also what gives all of us a purpose to our lives, and we'll all find a kind of joy for living life that can't be found anywhere else. None of us should ever be discouraged because of knowing we'll have to practice recovery for the rest of our lives, but instead we all can be glad knowing that this is what gives all of us a meaning and a value to all of our lives.
