Reassurance
I find reassurance in the words of Jesus.

Jesus’ encouraging words to the paralyzed man provide me with comfort and reassurance even today: “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven ... Stand up, take your bed and go to your home.” Being in the presence of One who inspired such faith must have been reassuring!

The comfort that Jesus’ faith brought to others is available to me through my own faith in God. The words of Jesus resonate within my soul, and each time I recall them, I am reminded of the power of God’s presence active in my own life.

The words of Jesus are my comfort at all times and my means of reconnecting my awareness to the infinite power of God.
Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.—Matthew 11:28
