What Really Hurts Us The Most
 

Many of us in recovery have had our share of painful experiences, but for all of us what really hurts us the most is when we had to turn on ourselves. Being true to ourselves is something that all of us have lost along the way. Us getting right with ourselves is important to all of us so that we are able to live our life free from the pain this has been causing all of us when we lost our integrity. All the painful things that all of us have been through and all the people who were part of that, these things don't own our life, unless we allow them to, and that's what of us all had to do at the time we were going through these things that was all any of us could do as a way we could survive what we were going through. Now that we're in recovery it's time for all of us to get back that integrity that all of us had to give away in order to survive and we can, and recovery can show us exactly how to do that. And for some of us this will be the first time we've ever been able to live our life free from that pain that was caused by us having to turn on ourselves.
