Default Forgive

Forgive

I free myself through the power of forgiveness.

I take comfort in the unconditional love of God and extend that love to everyone. In my relationships, I make a commitment to lovingly forgive so I am able to live more fully and freely. I also offer myself grace and forgiveness for my mistakes, and I try to learn from my missteps so I don’t repeat my hurtful behavior.

When I forgive others and myself, I let go of resentment and free myself from harmful and unpleasant feelings. Forgiveness may not minimize the impact of the damage done, but it releases me from holding on to pain.

When I allow forgiveness to dissolve my negative feelings, I demonstrate my belief in God’s unconditional love. My actions bring me into alignment with the truth of my spiritual nature, and I am free.

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.—Matthew 6:14
