Default Forgive

Forgive
We are all worthy of forgiveness.

Jesus spoke of forgiveness throughout his ministry, and he demonstrated forgiveness time and time again. Why was this lesson often focused on? Perhaps because forgiveness is one of the most loving things we can do for ourselves and others; it is a way to honor one another as spiritual beings.

Jesus forgave those who persecuted him and those who committed perceived sins or crimes out of his undying love for all people. He saw everyone as children of God and worthy of forgiveness.

As I take this lesson to heart and open myself to the love of God, I understand the value of forgiveness. By letting go and forgiving another, I am freer and happier. I choose to live in a spirit of love as Jesus demonstrated.
Forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.—Colossians 3:13
