Default Overwhelmed In Encouragement

OVERWHELMED IN ENCOURAGEMENT

It’s always a good feeling when we have people around us who are encouraging. It’s good when we have people who care enough to help and encourage so we won’t get discouraged or give up. We can also have encouragement from God’s word. Reading His word every day shows us how others got through hard times because of their faith in God. We need to be sure we encourage others and be encouraged by God’s word.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 “So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for your encouraging words and for those who step out and encourage others. Help us to be people who care enough to encourage others with our words rather than tear down. Help us to be people who care enough to read Your word and draw encouragement from You. Help us to be ready and willing to encourage and be encouraged. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God wants us to use our words to encourage and help rather than hurt and offend.

We can choose to be overwhelmed with encouragement by encouraging others and being encouraged with God’s word.

God is able to encourage us through His word and wants us to use His word to encourage others.

It’s such a good feeling to receive and give words of encouragement.

We need to first pray to God for encouragement so we can be encouraged and then encourage others.

Psalm 138:3 “As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.” (NLT)

Focus: Look for ways to be encouraged today and to encourage others.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
